Corinna Weiner is an eccentric German artist, whose work during her study already was rewarded with several prizes. She chooses to experiment with her own experiences and perceptions. Femininity is a favourite subject, but in all its aspect and painted from a woman’s point of view, instead of the in the world (of art) ruling male point of view. She has a subtle analytical way of revealing ruling unconscious conventions by means of her art, through deception, deletion and disposition.
